Founded in 1976

• The supply and installation of industrial thermal, chilled, and acoustic insulation and metal cladding.
• Asbestos removal and re-insulation.
• Manufacture of air-conditioning and ventilation systems. In recent years we have become involved in designing and building sulphur protection and salt protection units for computers and ATM machines with critical clean air requirements for both local and overseas clients.
• The manufacture and installation of chip, sawdust, and fume extraction systems.
• Specialty stainless steel kitchen equipment for the fast food and cafe scene.
• Acoustic enclosures for planing machines, stationary generators, and operator booths.

Project Experience

Best Insulation has been involved in a large number of major projects throughout New Zealand, working along side major New Zealand companies like Fletchers, McKenzie & Ridley, Downers, Robt Stone, and Fitzroy Engineering. We have a mobile workshop and long serving skilled labour giving quality and on-time completion.

Our insulation and cladding work has included steam, condensate, chilled water, low pressure hot water, hot oil, brine, ammonia, refrigerant oil, steam traced and electric traced pipelines.

Materials used have varied from pipe sections in fiberglass, mineral wool, and calcium silicate to blanket insulation materials. Cladding has varied from plastics to fiberglass, aluminum, galvanized iron, colour steel and stainless steel.
